I've fallen and I can't get up

Late Saturday night I decided to paint my home office. I wasn't feeling all that great so I was sitting on my rolling office chair while painting and left the upper part of the wall for another day. All was going well, Kellie was behaving curled up in a chair in the corner, I was proud of my new wall colour and I reached down to pull up the tape along the baseboards when THUMP the chair rolled out from beneath me and it seemed like slow motion as I fell to the floor and the chair flipped and bonked me on the head. My saviour Kellie came running over and pressed her face to mine and meowed as if to say "What the heck are you doing down there?" Luckily, I was only stiff the next day. The funniest part, besides Kellie running over to me, is when I told my Dad I had fallen off my chair. He scolded me for standing on the chair while painting when I had a step stool I could use, sheepishly I had to tell him I wasn't STANDING on the chair I was SITTING : ) Too Funny!

Glad to hear you're OK. I was going to point out the dangers of standing on a chair with wheels... how in the world can you fall off sitting? :-).

I think Kellie's reaction is pretty typical of her species. She probably thought you were playing.
