Scafflaw Week

Fin at Housecat Confidential is celebrating Scafflaw Week and I just had to participate! Not that I have ever done anything wrong.....I have a good reason for everything I do.....

.....just checking to see that all the dishes are in their proper place.....

...everything seems to be in order in this cupboard.....

...I have taken all the tags off your new purchases.....

.....finished cleaning on top of the fridge...

.....just resting after finishing dusting the t.v.

.....just checking to see that I have packed everything you need into your work bag...

...whoops...I forgot to pack this important document...I will just add some shred marks while I help the printer print....

....no need to thank me for dusting the fireplace mantel - it's no problem....

HELLO EVERYONE - I'M BACK!

Hi Everyone! I know it has been a long, long time, but I am back. My Mum says she is going to help me blog at least once a week - I hope she follows through!

It is very hot here in southern British Columbia that is why I am stretched out enjoying the air conditioner and showing my chubby tummy : )

My Mum's health hasn't been great lately (her kidneys are working at 17% and all her muscles hurt) but she has this week off work and she is going to update my bloggie and help me get back to blogging because she knows how much I like talking with all my friends.

P.S. Mum says it would be easier to type if I didn't require her to hold me in her arms like a baby while she is on the computer : ) At least I lie in her left arm and let her use her right hand to type - ha, ha........

Waiting for Spring

This is what I have been dreaming about during all my winter catnaps - SPRING - out on my deck - lounging around in the warmth - Oh, I can barely wait!

My Mum forgot my Gotcha Day

Another "back picture" because.......my own Mum forgot my Gotcha Day! It wasn't until she read the Cat Blogosphere news that she realized! Can you believe it! When she has some time off at Christmas I have to sit down with her and have her get her priorities straightened out, sigh....

One good thing, she is working on my blog and has got quite a few of my friends back on our blogroll (but not all), now she just has to make me a new heading and figure a way to get rid of that Solar Energy Charity Box.

T13 - Pathetic reasons my Mum is giving me for not helping me post!

Mum, I can't even look at you! Okay here are the 13 pathetic reasons my Mum is giving me for not helping me blog.

1. Work has been very busy. -Yah okay I will buy that, but what about AFTER work?
2. I am trying to clean up the office. -okay, that is a cop-out, nothing has been cleaned up in there yet, you are just "thinking" about what to do.
3. I have a new game for my Nintendo DS and I am addicted to it. - Yes, I have been meaning to talk to you about that. I don't like it when I sit on your lap and you play your game over my head - you should be concentrating just on me.
4. - 13. I have not been feeling well, I would list my ailments from 4 to 13, but I do not want to bore you. -Yes, I know you aren't feeling well and I feel bad for you and I try to be a good cat and give you lots of comfort, BUT a girl has to keep her blog up to date or her friends forget about her. Please Mum try to do better.

Oh and Mum, don't think I didn't notice the pathetic way you made 4 to 13 one point - rather lazy I must say, sigh.....

Tabbylicious Tuesday

On Monday nights my Mum and I watch Project Runway, which inspired todays blog title. We both love Project Runway! We are always sure to watch the US version, the Canadian version and the British version which is called Project Catwalk.

I believe the US Project Runway is run later in Canada than in the US, so if anyone knows who won, please don't tell us. Last year we accidently found out who won and it was devastating.

Now, how many of you would whap the guy that keeps saying "licious". I find him quite annoyalicious! Ha, ha, ha.

P.S. They should have an episode designing cat clothes.

Ch..ch...chilly outside

It is getting chillier out, so I thought I should make the most of my time out on MY deck this weekend. Sometimes I had to sit on the couch with my feets all tucked up under me to stay warm, but it was still wonderful out there.

Now is the time when my Mum starts limiting my time outside because she doesn't want to leave the cat door open for me. She says it is too cold and also there have been those few times that an intruder bat has made it onto MY deck and I have brought it inside for Mum, she doesn't even appreciate the presents I bring her, sheesh!

Thursday Thirteen - 13 Things My Mum has said to me this week

There seems to be 4 main conversations we have.

First, there are the mushy things Mummy's say to you....

1. How's my Kellie Bellie doing today, give Mummy some smooches.

2. Oh! Look at that pretty tummy - let Mummy snorgle your pretty tummy.

3. Who's the prettiest girl in the world? Yes, it's you!

4. Look at your cute little face, what a cutie patootie.......

Secondly, there are the conversations when she is mean and says "No".....

5. No, you can't have anymore treats! Stop whining...........

6. Yah No, do you really think meowing at the door is going to get you outside? You are an inside cat silly girl.

Thirdly, there are the conversations that start "Don't even think about........."

7. Don't even think about jumping up there, No, No, No.......Oh Kellie! Okay, if you are going to be up there be a good girl and don't knock anything off.

8. Don't even think about laying on my black sweater before I go to work. No, No, No......Oh Kellie! Sigh.....

And Fourthly, there are the conversations that start "Oh Kellie......."

9. Oh Kellie, do you have to lie across my neck like that - you are choking me!

10. Oh Kellie, do you have to lick EVERY visitors toes!

11. Oh Kellie, stop sniffing Grandpa's feet, you have such a foot fetish!

12. Oh Kellie, watch your tail, you are going to get your tail in the bath water....

13. Oh Kellie, do you have to lay across the keyboard....

My Gizzy Quilt hides my Temptations

My Mum loves to give me my Temptations on my Gizzy Quilt. I'm not complaining...okay actually I am, I can't see the darn treats when they are on my Bizzy Gizzy : ) Does anyone else have this problem? I have to go sniffing around the whole quilt to locate them, sigh. I guess I shouldn't complain, at least I get my wonderful Temptations : )

Frustrating Friday

Don't I look frustrated!?

Okay, you are right - it isn't me that is frustrated - it is my Mum. On the 2nd of September my Mum had surgery to create a fistula for dialysis - this past Tuesday she found out that the fistula doesn't work and she has to go through another surgery to have another one created, sigh. This will be her 3rd fistula surgery - both of the first two didn't work. She is very frustrated, but I help her out by being goofy and making her laugh, like in the pictures below. My cousin Shauna is also helping me cheer Mum up.

Busy, Busy, Busy.....

My Mum has been so busy at work that she is neglecting her blog typing work for me! It is totally unacceptable behaviour and I am thinking of putting her in a time out (with the computer, so she can catch up). Apparently, you are supposed to put beans in time outs for one minute per year of their age, so she will be there a squillion years and I will get my blog updated.

Mum says to please be patient with us. She has the auditors coming August 11 and until then, we won't be able to post every day : )

Please don't forget about us.

Wordless Wednesday - We are back!

We are back! My Mum was feeling ill for the last 10 days or so and didn't even open up her laptop once! She is feeling better and is back at work today, so we hope to catch up on all our friends. We have missed all of you.

Crazy Thundering Herd of Elephants

Last night I decided to put on a crazy thundering herd of elephant show!

All evening I ran around the house with my ears back, racing from one spot to the other, meowing really loud, it was alot of fun and a good way to burn off steam. My Mum of course was all concerned that something was wrong, he, he, he.....she kept talking to me all sweetly, asking me what was wrong.......ha, ha, ha.....Then she thought maybe a storm was coming (cause when a storm is coming I act all crazy too), but no - I was just having some fun and of course there was the extra benefit of Mum paying ALOT of attention to me was good.

Yup, just a good old game of thundering herd of elephants that went on all evening and into the night : )

The Progression of an itch

Finally New Pictures of my Hammock

Here is my new hammock that my Mum and Grandpa made for me. My Grandpa made it twice this size, but my Mum cut it down, but it is still larger than other cats hammocks!

It is very good to lay around on and think......

It is also a good place to have a quick wash........

If you want a place to have a good scratch - this would be the place for that to.....

I quite like my new hammock even if it is a little big.

I am very proud to announce that last night I took my Mum to staples, bought her a USP card reader for her work computer and she has now downloaded all my pictures, whew - it took her long enough. I would also like to mention that it cost $10.55 of my allowance to purchase this for her, I better get some good treats!

Tummy & Tattles Tuesday

Oooooooooo.......I am hypnotizing you with my laser eyes..........

I have a tattle to tell on my Mum. She has well over 125 new pictures of me on her camera and she still has not downloaded them onto the computer so that I can use them in my posts! This has been about 2 months! What is taking her so long? I have told her she has until the end of the week to download these photo's or beware - at sometime, somewhere, I shall wreak havoc!

Finally Friday - Missing Bonnie

I am glad it is finally Friday, although my Mum didn't work Monday because it was Victoria Day and she was home sick on Wednesday and Thursday, so really Mum and I had lots and lots of sleep and cuddle time already this week. Still, it is always nice to have a weekend.

I was so sorry to hear about my dear friend Bonnie Underfoot , I will miss her alot. My thoughts and purrayers are with Victor and their beans.

Snore...........

It was wonderful weather here this weekend -I really enjoyed it out on MY deck. I even let my Mum join me out here. She napped on the couch and I napped on her hip - it was delightful.

Actually, it was a delightful weekend for me - Mum wasn't feeling well so we travelled around the house napping in different rooms. Ahhh.....there is nothing better for a cat than a weekend of napping.

Mum's kidney function is getting very low again and she will find out on June 20th if they are going to do an operation to put a fistula or graft in her arm for dialysis. This has happened before, her kidney function dips just about low enough that she might have to go on dialysis and then goes up a couple of points so she can wait awhile, so we are hoping that things will rebound a couple of percentage points and she can wait for dialysis. In the meantime I will stay very close to her and heal her with my healing purrs : )

Finally Friday

I have been terribly neglected this week! My Mum has helped me visit a few blogs, but she hasn't helped me post since Monday! It is so hard to find reliable help. I guess I shouldn't be so hard on her, she hasn't been feeling well this week, but gee whiz - a cat needs to blog!

Mum and I are both very happy that it is a long weekend. I think we both plan to get lots and lots of rest and sunshine! I hope everycat and their beans do the same.
