September

Kellie and I had a relaxing weekend, did some chores, went out for dinner, had my niece Shauna over to play, read a book, normal weekend things. I love September, it's still nice enough to sit outside in the evenings, the afternoon sun is pleasant, but not uncomfortably hot - to me it is the perfect month.

At this time of year Kellie loves to spend the evenings out on the deck, listening to the frogs croak and watching the quail. The only problem I have with her being outside in September and October is that these are the months that she has "captured" bats in previous years and brought them into the house. I'm rather squeamish and could certainly live without these experiences. Hopefully, she won't bring any friends in this year.
