Kellie is usually pretty good about not scratching the furniture, she has a scratching pole that she usually scratches to her hearts content. My sofa has a slip cover and last week I took it off and washed it - ever since I put it back on Kellie has been obsessed with scratching the sofa. I don't know if it's coincidence, if she doesn't like the soap I used or perhaps she likes the soap I used - I don't know what it's all about but she likes to scratch the sofa lately. When I holler at her to stop, she briefly gives me an indifferent look and keeps scratching, she then comes over and plunks herself on my lap. I think she might be just acting out to get attention! Kids!
