Thankful Tuesday

Today I would like to just sit and reflect on how lucky I am. It takes a near disaster for most of us to stop and realize just how fortunate we are.

Here are some of the things I am thankful for

• Lilly Lu, Mu Shue, Iris and their Mum are all alright
• I have such wonderful, caring friends on the cat blogosphere, who rally around a cat in need
• I have my Mum and a forever home
• I have my Grandpa, who is so kind and giving
• I have my cousin Shauna to play with

I have so many other things to be thankful for, but the ones I cherish most are my family and friends. I am going to try to remember each day just how fortunate I am.

Marvelous Monday!

I have some very good news today! On Saturday morning my Mum woke up to NO pain in her muscles! It has been a couple of months of very, very painful muscles and all of a sudden she woke up Saturday morning and it was gone! She says it feels like her muscles are shaky, but that is it! I'm not sure if you guys remember, but her nephrologist switched her from Lipitor to Crestor (which is a very similar drug), but the pain continued, then her GP stopped the Crestor and now 12 days later the pain stopped, so it must have been the statin drugs.

Mum and I are so very thankfull and hope that the pain stays away and is not just some sort of cyclical thing. This is such good news because last week Mum had to stay home from work 3 days because the pain was unbearable - it is definately a good Monday! Yay, yay, yay!

Now that you are feeling better Mum - I want those pictures of me with my Valentines present from my wonderful Maximillian downloaded! I still haven't posted a thank you yet and Valentines day was 2 weeks ago!
