When my Mum was little she had "normal" wavy hair, as seen above. Then when she turned 12, just when it is so important to have "normal" hair, her hair did this.....
Oh, Mum this hair is so funny. I just had to tattle, ha, ha, ha....... No, this is not a perm, this is her natural hair. See how she parted it in the middle? This was her attempt to "feather" her hair, nice try Mum. Ha, ha, ha.....I can't stop laffin.Then Grandma said "Maybe if you grow your hair out a bit, the weight of the hair will straighten it out a bit". This is what happened....
Yup, it just got bigger and bigger and bigger. Somewhere there is a picture wher it is even a couple of inches higher than this, but I couldn't find it among all Mum's pictures. Oh, this red afro just cracks me up ha, ha, ha......Poor Mum.Now her hair is back to wavy. Go figure. What the heck was going on?
