Romantic Lunch

I have asked Maximillian (aka the mad bad burrman) to come to lunch on Saturday. I am making roast duck and ham. Is there any other dish I should prepare? I am new at dating and am very nervous that I make a good impression. I thought I would also make a pitcher of niptini's, although I must be careful not to overindulge and lose control.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Oh, Kellie, that sounds purrfect! What mancat could resist?

Don't be nervous, and remember to be yourself. You are already a gorgeous ginger lady . . . remember that he is one lucky mancat to have your interest!

We think you should make some appetizers too - shrimp puffs, roasted fish tenders, chicken strips, etc. That will help you to break the ice!

I always used to think booze was important but that may explain my lack of success with dating. However a little catnip appetizer might help both of you relax.

Hi Kellie,

I have been thinking a lot about your beautiful eyes. They look so striking with your orange stripes...I think you must be very unusual and rare.

Even though my mommy is going away tonight, I will teleport over to have lunch.

I LOVE ham. ANd tuna. It all sounds delish.

Dr Tweety is keeping an eye on my behavior to make sure that I am polite and not too pushy.

I wouldn't mind a niptini or two because I am a bit nervous about all of this. I am very highstrung.

Regards,
Maximillian

We are probably too late since it is Sat night here in NC but it seems that Yao-Lin likes corn and just an hour ago we watched ML suck down an entire can of cream corn, so we'd suggest that!
And wine.
We watched her suck down a lot of red wine too. Because it's snowing. You must have red wine when it's cold.
It's a RULE.
(Somewhere in her mind.)

Roast duck an ham ought to knock his socks off! Make sure he has only 1 (well, mebbe 2) niptinis.

Ya wanna make sure he is foccussed on you, not the food, annyway. And not TOO much smoochin onna first date! OK? ;)
