Last night I really, really, really wanted to go outside on my enclosed deck. Mum kept giving me lectures on how it was winter out and very cold...blah, blah, blah....I tuned her out after awhile. I don't think she realized that I really wanted to get out there. I scratched at the door, whined, looked pitiful and finally she let me go out on the deck. Of course there was another lecture about how she wasn't going to get up in 30 seconds and let me in, I better be prepared to spend at least 5 minutes out there....blah, blah, blah....
So I went out on the deck. It was nice an cool, but I was enjoying it. I did a quick lap around the perimeter and then sat and looked in at Mum. She grimaced and got up and opened the door (so much for that 5 minute threat). I looked at her and wandered away. She closed the door again, I did another loop around the perimeter and then sat and looked in at her again. She got up again and again I took off (he, he, he....Hellie hasn't had this much fun in along time).
Finally, she marched out and picked me up and brought me inside! I don't like being manhandled, or in this case womanhandled! I couldn't believe how rude she was, to just pick me up and plop me in the house! I told her that Daisy made stew out of her rude lizards, so she better watch out or I will do the same with her! Ha, that should teach her!

Oh my Kellie/Hellie. Your mom certainly was rude. We find that humans can be rude at times when they want us to do things we don't want to do.
Kellie/Hellie, you are doing some good training with your mommy. keep it up.
What nerve! I'd have growled, spat, and squirmed. Naturally, you were inviting her to join you outside. No matter how hard we work to train these beans, they just don't understand.
HeeHeeHee - It's fun to get them to stand up, then sit, then stand up, then sit...
Too bad they don't speak cat as well as they should!
Wow! Hellie was really giving it to mom, wasn't she?
ha!! Well done hellie!! You are excelling at training your human slave !x
I still have the recipe if you need it...
Mum stew. Hahahahaha!

Good one! We wish we had an enclosed deck! I spend a lot of time trying to get out to get grass.

I agree totally and just wish your mom and my SS would get trained up in this respect!
Yup,your Mom is rude. She must not like being stared at by you.
A little more tweaking and she just might do what you want ;)

Sounds like u do have yer mum trained pretty well. I agree it is pretty rude to use the size advantage to plop u somewheres.
Bless your heart. You were just wanting to blow the stink off your furs weren't you? A poodin needs those fresh airs now and then...

Yeah, I don't get it. Just because she is cold mom makes me come in...is she nuts. Dat woman is such a wuss.~Zippy
Oah Dear~~
I hope you and your mommy could communicate better~~
I think she is just concerning about you~!
Good job training your mom for door duty Kellie! Our mom was already trained when I arrived.
I don't think you should make a stew out of your mom, even though she was rude to you.
OH KELLIE!
We had to biggify this photo of you right away so we could worship at the altar of your Big Beautiful Butterscotch Body! You are large and in charge, Girl! Love it.
Willie is in awe of your strategy as well. We can not tell you how many times (per day) he forces ML to get off of her butt to let him out the back sliding glass door. (He does the machine paw on it which grates on her nerves to the max!)
And she yells at him: "WILLIE! I AM NOT GETTING BACK UP IN THREE SECONDS TO LET YOU BACK IN!" and of course she does.
Humans are mostly pathetic, and now that your Mum has crossed the blogger strike picket line, maybe Lazy Mosaic Lady will too.
Maybe.
(She's wearing her $5 disgusting crocks with holes everywhere now that she saw our godmother in her purple ones in SC over Xmas. Thanks again for that!)
Poor sweet Kellie... your Mum must have been in a mood from working so hard, because you know she's normally quite loving and understanding of a cat's needs.
Perhaps you could give her a snuggle or two to make her feel better.
Kellie!!!! Good fur you!!! I tink we should all train deze mommeez right! In & out & In & out, haz alwayz been my motto!
I wish I had a nice balcony to sit on. We have a porch, but it goes right down into the yard, so we're not allowed to go out on it.

Oh yes, she should treat you like a queen and let you do whatever you want - coz we know that it is for an absolutely good reason(s) which need not be explained.

Yeah! She should have let you stay out there. I'm sure walking the perimeter was keeping you warm.
