Tattle Tail Tuesday #4

I do not have photographic evidence to support my tattle tail today because Mum is a very lazy secretary and kept putting off taking my pictures for me : ( I will have to make do with stealing images from other sites.

This tattle tail is just so embarassing I have to cover my eyes.

On my Tattle Tail Tuesday when I mentioned that my Mum wore two different shoes to an appointment one day Annie from Mosaic Cats said that at least my Mum wore real grown up shoes. Apparently ML wore flip flops all summer long. Well, the different shoe story was from years ago. For the last 2 years my Mum was wore nothing but........

Yup, she wears Holey Soles with EVERYTHING. Thankfully, her workplace is very casual. She wears them with jeans, khakis, dress pants - she doesn't care, she wears them with everything.
There was only one time in the past 2 years that she couldn't wear them and that was because she had to wear a skirt and go to a fancy dinner. She wore shoes with barely a 1" heel and she tottered around like a drunken sailor, she could barely walk upright in "normal" shoes.
Even now that it is winter she keeps wearing her Holey Soles, she just added socks. I must admit she did wear her winter boots the other day, but she had her precious Holey Soles in her bag to change into.
Oh, the shame and embarassment........

Oh no, not Crocs!! ACK! Don't feel bad - our Mommy wears Birkenstocks sometimes. We've told her the 60s are over and to get some real shoes, but she nevers listens. Sigh.

My mommy doesn't wear those, but she wears sneakers everywhere! She works at a bird store so she even gets to wear jeans. I'm glad I don't have to wear shoes. My paws are just fiiiiiiiiiine.

Ha ha ha ha! Crocs! Our mommy has never worn those, but she sees other people in them all the time. I don't think that is TOO embarrassing . . . but I'm not sure.

Our mom would live in her bedroom slippers. The first thing she does when she gets home (after feeding us) is put on her slippers. She would probably wear slippers to work if she could get away with it.

My buddy Ernie was scared of Crocs, flip flops, dark colored socks or anything that resembled any of these. He would attack them. My Mom thinks someone might have scared him with something simular to one of these. Poor guy...

CROCKS!!! OOOOH NOOOO!!!!! My tattle is in a similar vein, well, kind of - but honestly!! Crocs? The fashion faux pas of the century?? Second only to Ugg Boots (of which my human has two pairs). x

Well, they are not the best looking shoes, but maybe they are comfy. I am glad I don't have to wear shoes!

I for one hope your mom doesn't feel too embarrassed by her shoe choice. I try to get away with wearing my tennis shoes whenever and wherever I can. Comfort over style is my motto...

Hahahahaha! Guess what? My Mommie wears Crocs all the time, too! Only she has bright purple and bright green ones. And also pink Mary Jane Crocs. And plain white ones to wear to the shelter. Oh, the humanity!

We should not have let ML see your pretty shoe photos because now she wants some, in all colors.
She has started to wear her black Dansko clogs with the faux fur collars on them already. She wore them ALL last fall and winter in CO. She got them off eBay, "slightly used" and
they are the ugliest, er, most comfortable shoes ever. (add another idea to my Tuesday list!)

BTW, she staggers like a drunken sailor in her bare feet.
(Sadie really laughed at your meat loaf comment re. "overflow"!!)

Our mombean says she sees lots of people wearin' those, so you shouldn't be too embarassed. We don't see our mombean wearin' shoes much. She only puts them on right before going out and takes them off soon as she gets home. An she only wears socks when it's cold. She says her toes like to breath. ugh.

With all them holey shoes she must be very blessed. Our bean hardly wear shoes at all... and just like ML (and you) she does the sailor strut. She is most worried about soon having to wear real shoes at daughterbeans wedding... oh dear,
oh no, walking down the aisle?
That'll be good for a laugh or two from us...

We don't wear that before. hehehehe~!!!
Because michico thinks it's just too many people wearing it, so she decided not to buy it~!!!

Your photo still look great :)

Well, I don't find that embarrassing. My mom used to wear running shoes all the time when she was working - she needs to wear orthotics, and she has very wide feet, so running shoes were the only shoes that were wide enough and that her orthotics would fit in.

My mum wears crocs too. All day at work, and most days at home. She also just puts socks on with dem during the winter time. Although she draws the line at wearing them out at night. Sorry Kellies mom.

For the non-believers out there, mum has lost the foot odour that plagued her for decades - and now none of her other shoes smell.

She also lost all of her tiredness. She is on her feet ALL DAY, and used to come home exhausted with very sore feet. Now, she has no sore feet.

It is very controversial isn't it? To croc or not!!

My bean wears those. I was thinking of doing a tattle tale Tuesday on them one day. She can't wear them to work though, they need to look professional at the office.
