Going Pink!

As you can see by my blog colours & ME, I have gone Pink for October. Thank you to Gretchen and her bean for the graphic.

My Grandpa has prostate cancer, he finished treatment last year and is doing great. I pray that he continues to do so.

Wouldn't it be great if a cure for cancer could be found! Until then we can all do our best to help make a cure possible, even if you are a cat and your contribution is to make your blog pink for October to make people aware!

It would be great if a cure for cancer could be found. My mom's dad is also a prostate cancer survivor, and my dad's mom is a breast cancer survivor. Every year in Canada they do the Terry Fox Run, the CIBC Run for the Cure (for breast cancer research) and the Do It For Dad run (for prostate cancer research).

Ahhhhh- the change in color startled me. But I like it.

My father had surgery for prostate cancer around ten years ago and is doing fine. It's nice you recognize your grandpa on your blog.

We are hoping and keeping our paws crossed for a cure for cancer. Both of dad's parents died from cancer so it is vital to find a cure.

Our mom is planning to make our blog pink too as soon as she figures out how to do so. Her bestest bestest friend was just diagnosed with breast cancer and our mom is very worried about her. We's glad your mom's dad is a survivor. Beans need to get on the stick and find a cure for this evil disease.

You look very pretty in pink. My grandpa passed away from cancer before I ever got to meet him.

It would be wonderful if the human scientists could find a cure for cancer. Of course, it will likely be a feline scientist who eventually finds a cure but then, that stands to reason in my book. xx

Mom says one of the cats that came before us went to The Bridge from cancer, so I think it would be a good thing for us to "go pink" in her honor. Her name was Puff.

How great that you are Pinking for October! All us Ballicai and our Mom have gone pink, too.

I love your idea of getting MaoMao, Dorydoo, and Marilyn to groom me so I won't have hairballs! I shall have to find a way to implement that -- an excellent, excellent plan *rubbing floofy paws together*!

Thank you so much for your purrs and well-wishes. They mean so much -- I am a lucky Brainball to have such wonderful friends! I am happy to report that I'm feeling great today!

I am feeling a bit better, right now I am sitting on mommies lap for the first time in weeks. It is my third time out of the frying pan so far today. I also ate and coughed a whole bunch on and off all day...but it is getting better because I am purrrrring and feel happy. Having so much love all around me and the warmth you are bring to me here in my frying pan makes this a happy place.
Lots of love to you, Miss Peach
