Medium Monday

My Mum thinks I might be a medium, or perhaps a psychic. On Friday after my Mum came home from work I started crying and crying and crying. I cried all evening until she finally went to bed at 9:00. Then I cuddled up next to her and stayed close all night. On Saturday I continued crying and crying and crying all day until she finally went to bed at 7:00. Mum said all during this time she wasn't feeling well, but she said she was more worried about me and why I was whining. On Saturday night she took her temperature and it was 105, so she took some Tylenol and went to bed. I stayed very close to her all night. On Sunday when we woke up she was feeling much better and I had quit whining.

Gosh, it is so hard to get your point across to Mums sometimes. Why didn't she know that I wasn't whining, but I was telling her to go to bed because she wasn't well! What else could Meow mew mow meeoow meow mean! It is so obvious!

Perhaps I should study the Milton Bradley Medical Course like Daisy.

It can be so frustrating trying to communicate with your human. You'd think after living with her for 6 years, she'd understand what you say, but all you can do is keep on trying to get your message across. You have my complete sympathy, dear.

hehe you are a very very clever cat you know. When my human was sick, I sat on her and scratched her face when she tried to get to sleep. I mean, what good is a poorly human? x

Humans just aren't very smart sometimes - often they don't understand a simple meow, and if they do understand, they frequently don't listen! Of course, we cats are the best medicine when humans are ill. I hope your mom is feeling better now.

We kitties know stuff. We know when our mommas or daddies don't feel good. My daddy's been feelin' kinda rough lately and Brainball nefur leaves his side. she's always there with him talkin' and a talkin' and tryin' to be as close to him as she can. We kitties are the bestest doctors and nurses, that's fur sure.

I hope your momma's feelin' bettur soon!

Hi Kellie,

I agree the humans should listen to us cats. Thanks for visiting my blog I like meeting new kitty's and making friends :)

Awww, that's so sweet. What a good kitty daughter you are. We kitties know so much about how our humans are feeling, don't we? We're very much in tune with them -- perhaps sometimes even more in tune with them than they are with themselves *smile*.

You're a great doctor, Kellie!

You should come and see Simon at my bloggie. He could be your face twin!

Kellie, you are a very very good caretaker. An important part of being a good doctor is having medical sense, and you have it!

Sounds like you take very good care of your mom. I've learned over the years the boyz are often better readers of me than I am so I agree totally with what you are saying (or meowing).

Hi Kellie! You are a very smart orange kitty to know when your Mom is sick. I think instead of taking Daisy's Milton Bradley Home Study Doctor course, you should take a foreign language course on "Human English." Maybe that would help you get through to your mom!

Very good job Kellie. You knew your mum wasn't well. It is like Oscar at the nursing home. He knows when people were getting to the point of dying!

You are such a good cat, Kellie, to take care of your mom like that. They just don't understand that we *know things.

*kiss* Dear Kellie, I believe your momma will figure out finally, that your saying is for her own good.

Don't worry about that, sometimes momma just have lots of things to do, Of course you have to remind her many times, But I still believe your momma likes to stay in bed with you. That will be more comfortable.

Ask your momma sleep some more, and she will be good as you do.
Say hello to your momma for me, and ask her to rest first.

What a good kitty you are Kellie! Sometimes us beans just don't stop and listen! I sure hope she is continuing to feel better!

FYI: I spoke with Yuki and Kimiko's mombean this morning and left a very important message in the comments of the contest winners post at their blog!

Kellie,
This is a very special gift and talent in healing arts!
Willie has this same gift.
It's to the point now that when he hovers and gets too affectionate, Mosaic Lady is sure she's dying.

Maybe you can train your Lady to listen to you early on, so she won't have to be as neurotic as Mosaic Lady after 15.5 years of living with a feline medical intuitive.
