Tuesday Tummy Day

I love to lay on Mum's lap and look at the world upside down. I also like it when I lay like this and she snorgles my tummy : )

I'm Baaaaaaaaack!

I'm backkkkkkk!  At least my Mum says she is going to help me blog at least once a week!

Quite a few things have changed since I last blogged, my Mum had to start dialysis and wasn't feeling well, so we sold our condo and moved in with Grandpa.  I like it here very much, Grandpa is the food man and I wake him up early in the morning for my noms, he wakes up much earlier than Mum so I don't have to starve in the morning. Some call me chubby, but really I'm just really floofy.

Scafflaw Week

Fin at Housecat Confidential is celebrating Scafflaw Week and I just had to participate! Not that I have ever done anything wrong.....I have a good reason for everything I do.....

.....just checking to see that all the dishes are in their proper place.....

...everything seems to be in order in this cupboard.....

...I have taken all the tags off your new purchases.....

.....finished cleaning on top of the fridge...

.....just resting after finishing dusting the t.v.

.....just checking to see that I have packed everything you need into your work bag...

...whoops...I forgot to pack this important document...I will just add some shred marks while I help the printer print....

....no need to thank me for dusting the fireplace mantel - it's no problem....

Another Finally Friday!

This is a hammock that my Mum made for me last year - It is very nice and she tried her best, but she used the wrong material! It is starting to sag something awful. Although it is still a good spot to sit and think and......

...... give cheeks a little scratch and........

...... even have a quick bath. She says she will try change the material one day soon, but until then I will just lay in my extra saggy hammock.

Finally Friday

Yay, I'm so glad it is friday AND a long weekend here in BC! Three whole days of chillaxin with the Mum!

I don't know how much longer I can sit out here on my deck - it is very HOT - I think I am going to go inside with the air conditioner and my Mum.

Toesie Tuesday

It's toesie Tuesday! I love to lie on my back and curl up my toesies (front and back). I stretch them out and then tighten them up, over and over again........ahhh......there is nothing like stretching the old toes!

HELLO EVERYONE - I'M BACK!

Hi Everyone! I know it has been a long, long time, but I am back. My Mum says she is going to help me blog at least once a week - I hope she follows through!

It is very hot here in southern British Columbia that is why I am stretched out enjoying the air conditioner and showing my chubby tummy : )

My Mum's health hasn't been great lately (her kidneys are working at 17% and all her muscles hurt) but she has this week off work and she is going to update my bloggie and help me get back to blogging because she knows how much I like talking with all my friends.

P.S. Mum says it would be easier to type if I didn't require her to hold me in her arms like a baby while she is on the computer : ) At least I lie in her left arm and let her use her right hand to type - ha, ha........

HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2009

My Mum so wishes that we would get lots and lots of trick or treaters (me not so much), but the only trick or treater we get is the niece, sigh........ Fine by me, this way Mum can sit still so I can cuddle up on her lap and sleep and she doesn't have to answer that annoying doorbell!

Zoom Groom, National Kitteh Day, Freya's Map & Diabetes Month

Mmmmmm.....the pictures are blurry......but that Zoom Groom feels so good on my head. Keep it up Mum, I will tell you when to stop.......

I saw on Icanhazcheeseburger that tomorrow is National Kitteh Day - I thought everyday was Kitty day, but it is nice to have an official day : ) I am going to insist that my Mum do something extra special for me tomorrow, I haven't decided what yet.

I think most of you know that Parker's Mum has Diabetes and so does my Grandpa - November is National Diabetes Month, I have posted Parker's Badge on my Sidebar for support.

Cuddling Up for the Cold

It has been very chilly here in the southern part of British Columbia, brrrrr...... Mum and I took full advantage of this and we stayed cuddled under quilts this weekend. Sometimes my Mum sits in our chair in the living room and pulls the blanket over both our heads and we have a big nap. It was a good weekend to nap - not only was it cold, but Mum was under the weather so I didn't leave her side, I just cuddled, cuddled, cuddled. Mum says I am a good nurse : )

I've been MISSING 5 Months!

YOU will not believe this, but my Mother has NOT helped me blog for 5 whole months! I was just about to call some sort of cat abuse hotline, it's a good thing she is blogging today or she would be in big, big trouble.

Thank you to all who have left messages for me while I was away from my blog, they were very much appreciated.

We did not sell our condo! There has been a big building boom in our city lately and there are tons and tons and tons of condos for sale, so we are stuck where we are for awhile. My Mum took it off the market because we couldn't stand having anymore people waltz through our home. It can be rather annoying after awhile. A kitty just gets settled for a long nap and then in come the looky loos and then I have to do another tour, sigh.....

My Mum has promised to help me blog more often and I am going to meow and meow and meow at her until she does. I now have to go and catch up with all my friends. Please be patient with me, it might take me awhile to make it around to everyone.

My Mum is FINALLY helping me post

I have been miserable without you all - I hope I haven't been completely forgotten, sigh.... My Mum is finally helping me post!

Her excuses are that she hasn't been feeling that great and that we are trying to sell our condo - I think both excuses are lame - she could make time if she really tried.

I have been spending my days cuddling the Mum when she isn't feeling well and making sure I do not hack up any hairballs or leave any loose fur on the ground - the Mum has become insane about keeping everything in the house purrfect while strange beans come and look around MY house! If they are nice quiet people then I follow them around and show them the highlights, but if they talk loud then I hide under the couch - loud talkers scare me alots.

As many of you know my dear boyfriend Maximillian has been ill, I am happy to report that he is feeling better and is now gaining back some weight. I was very worried about him.

I will try to make the Mum blog for me more often, please wish me luck.

I think I will head south until it warms up

I went in Mum's purse and got her plastic card out - I am going to make arrangements to head south until the weather warms up - or maybe I will go to Hawaii!

I don't have a passport! "Mum does Canada have any warms spots?" "No Kellie, why do you ask?" "No reason, just wonderin".

Darn, I am going to have to "buy" a passport on the "black market" first - I wonder if the "black market" takes plastic cards?

It is snowing out and I am DEPRESSED!

Waiting for Spring

This is what I have been dreaming about during all my winter catnaps - SPRING - out on my deck - lounging around in the warmth - Oh, I can barely wait!

My Mum has been very bad at helping me blog - sigh.....if only I had typing skills. We had a very quiet but nice Christmas and New Year. We slept lots and lots and lots, which is what my Mum said she needed most - so that was good.

I have so many things to show you - my Secret Paws present , my present from my sweet boyfriend Maximillian - but of course the pictures are still on the camera : )

For now, I will just wish everyone a Happy New Year : )

Finally Friday

Yay, yay, yay......It is finally friday and that means Mum will spend the weekend snuggling with me! I LOVE snuggling with the Mum. AND next week she only has to work 2 days and then she is home until January 5th!

I am going to TRY to get her to get in the Christmas Spirit and do at least a little decorating - she says she might go shopping for a smaller tree - that sounds fine to me, just get some sort of decorations up!

Mum received a note to pick up a parcel for ME. She is going to pick it up at lunch time - I am so excited!
