.....finished cleaning on top of the fridge...

.....just resting after finishing dusting the t.v.

.....just checking to see that I have packed everything you need into your work bag...

...whoops...I forgot to pack this important document...I will just add some shred marks while I help the printer print....

....no need to thank me for dusting the fireplace mantel - it's no problem....

Another Finally Friday!

This is a hammock that my Mum made for me last year - It is very nice and she tried her best, but she used the wrong material! It is starting to sag something awful. Although it is still a good spot to sit and think and......

...... give cheeks a little scratch and........

...... even have a quick bath. She says she will try change the material one day soon, but until then I will just lay in my extra saggy hammock.

Hi Everyone! I know it has been a long, long time, but I am back. My Mum says she is going to help me blog at least once a week - I hope she follows through!

It is very hot here in southern British Columbia that is why I am stretched out enjoying the air conditioner and showing my chubby tummy : )

My Mum's health hasn't been great lately (her kidneys are working at 17% and all her muscles hurt) but she has this week off work and she is going to update my bloggie and help me get back to blogging because she knows how much I like talking with all my friends.

P.S. Mum says it would be easier to type if I didn't require her to hold me in her arms like a baby while she is on the computer : ) At least I lie in her left arm and let her use her right hand to type - ha, ha........

My Mum so wishes that we would get lots and lots of trick or treaters (me not so much), but the only trick or treater we get is the niece, sigh........ Fine by me, this way Mum can sit still so I can cuddle up on her lap and sleep and she doesn't have to answer that annoying doorbell!

Cuddling Up for the Cold

It has been very chilly here in the southern part of British Columbia, brrrrr...... Mum and I took full advantage of this and we stayed cuddled under quilts this weekend. Sometimes my Mum sits in our chair in the living room and pulls the blanket over both our heads and we have a big nap. It was a good weekend to nap - not only was it cold, but Mum was under the weather so I didn't leave her side, I just cuddled, cuddled, cuddled. Mum says I am a good nurse : )

I've been MISSING 5 Months!

YOU will not believe this, but my Mother has NOT helped me blog for 5 whole months! I was just about to call some sort of cat abuse hotline, it's a good thing she is blogging today or she would be in big, big trouble.

Thank you to all who have left messages for me while I was away from my blog, they were very much appreciated.

We did not sell our condo! There has been a big building boom in our city lately and there are tons and tons and tons of condos for sale, so we are stuck where we are for awhile. My Mum took it off the market because we couldn't stand having anymore people waltz through our home. It can be rather annoying after awhile. A kitty just gets settled for a long nap and then in come the looky loos and then I have to do another tour, sigh.....

My Mum has promised to help me blog more often and I am going to meow and meow and meow at her until she does. I now have to go and catch up with all my friends. Please be patient with me, it might take me awhile to make it around to everyone.

My Mum is FINALLY helping me post

I have been miserable without you all - I hope I haven't been completely forgotten, sigh.... My Mum is finally helping me post!

Her excuses are that she hasn't been feeling that great and that we are trying to sell our condo - I think both excuses are lame - she could make time if she really tried.

I have been spending my days cuddling the Mum when she isn't feeling well and making sure I do not hack up any hairballs or leave any loose fur on the ground - the Mum has become insane about keeping everything in the house purrfect while strange beans come and look around MY house! If they are nice quiet people then I follow them around and show them the highlights, but if they talk loud then I hide under the couch - loud talkers scare me alots.

As many of you know my dear boyfriend Maximillian has been ill, I am happy to report that he is feeling better and is now gaining back some weight. I was very worried about him.

I will try to make the Mum blog for me more often, please wish me luck.

My Mum has been very bad at helping me blog - sigh.....if only I had typing skills. We had a very quiet but nice Christmas and New Year. We slept lots and lots and lots, which is what my Mum said she needed most - so that was good.

Finally Friday

Yay, yay, yay......It is finally friday and that means Mum will spend the weekend snuggling with me! I LOVE snuggling with the Mum. AND next week she only has to work 2 days and then she is home until January 5th!

I am going to TRY to get her to get in the Christmas Spirit and do at least a little decorating - she says she might go shopping for a smaller tree - that sounds fine to me, just get some sort of decorations up!

I hope everyone has a great, relaxing weekend.

Mum received a note to pick up a parcel for ME. She is going to pick it up at lunch time - I am so excited!

I am going to sit on Mum's computer until she recognizes that she is being very abusive to me by not helping me blog. I wasn't even able to post a recent picture of me and "the computer" because she is lazy and hasn't updated my pictures. We don't even have this computer anymore!

Mum has been fooling around on Facebook, she has now taken a break because somehow she sent everyone in her address book a Facebook invite by mistake, even the Mortgage company, Bank etc. She is very embarassed and hopes everyone forgives her big booboo. Serves her right, if she was blogging with me it wouldn't have happened.

So this is the 6th picture in our 6th folder. It is of my cousin Sylvester. Sylvester is the cat that lives with my Mum's brother, sister-in-law and 11 year old niece. When the niece was just a baby about 3 months old Sylvester invited himself to live with them. They had a cat door for their cat Cuddles (now at the Rainbow Bridge) and when Sylvester was just a baby kitty he came in the cat door and made himself at home. They tried very hard to find out where he belonged, but no one ever claimed him. The brother thinks someone didn't want him, whoever had him first even cut his whiskers really short, to like about 1/4 of an inch long! They were glad to have him and now 11 years later he is the king of the house. He even does tricks for ham!

My Mum forgot my Gotcha Day

Another "back picture" because.......my own Mum forgot my Gotcha Day! It wasn't until she read the Cat Blogosphere news that she realized! Can you believe it! When she has some time off at Christmas I have to sit down with her and have her get her priorities straightened out, sigh....

One good thing, she is working on my blog and has got quite a few of my friends back on our blogroll (but not all), now she just has to make me a new heading and figure a way to get rid of that Solar Energy Charity Box.

Mum, I can't even look at you! Okay here are the 13 pathetic reasons my Mum is giving me for not helping me blog.

Work has been very busy. -Yah okay I will buy that, but what about AFTER work?
I am trying to clean up the office. -okay, that is a cop-out, nothing has been cleaned up in there yet, you are just "thinking" about what to do.
I have a new game for my Nintendo DS and I am addicted to it. - Yes, I have been meaning to talk to you about that. I don't like it when I sit on your lap and you play your game over my head - you should be concentrating just on me.
- 13. I have not been feeling well, I would list my ailments from 4 to 13, but I do not want to bore you. -Yes, I know you aren't feeling well and I feel bad for you and I try to be a good cat and give you lots of comfort, BUT a girl has to keep her blog up to date or her friends forget about her. Please Mum try to do better.

Thursday Thirteen - 13 Naughty Things Hellie Did This Week

My evil alter-ego Hellie has been a little bit naughty this week, my Mum thinks it has something to do with the change in weather - ha, ha, ha...... I....errrrr....I mean Hellie, just feels like being bad : )

Drank from Mom's water glass.
Did the machine paw at the hall closet for a long, long, long time and ignored Mom saying "NO" (probably because she was saying "Kellie stop that, Kellieeeeeee" - why does she always blame me?)
Howled and howled and howled while in the bathtub - twice this week in the middle of the night!
Spent about 20 minutes (in the middle of the night) trying to open the bathroom cabinets, driving Mummy crazy because each time she tried the cabinet door went thump, thump, thump.
Finally opened the bathroom cabinet door and dragged out the Q-tip box and spilled it all over the bathroom floor and everywhere else she decided to whap them.
Sat on Mummy's chest in the middle of the night and howled and howled and howled.......
Jumped up on the forbiden fireplace mantle and pushed a picture frame onto the floor.
Meowed and meowed and meowed whilst sitting on Mummy's lap while she tried to watch her favourite tv show.
When Mum was making toast she jumped up on the counter and licked the butter right from the butter dish!
Knocked the lamp off of the side table in the living room AGAIN.
Each night this week she has been running crazily around the house, several times in an evening, racing around and around the living room and then jumping up on Mum's lap and resting before another big blitz around the room.
Digging and digging and digging in the litterbox (for like 20 minutes) in the middle of the night and being so noisy she woke Mum up even though the litterbox is on the other side of the house!
Walking out onto the front step when Mum went to leave for work! Mum nearly had a nervous breakdown.

At first Mum thought maybe I was sick or something (which was crazy because it was Hellie being crazy, not me), but I seem fine, just crazy : ) Actually, I .....errr...I mean Hellie have just been having a little Fall Fun.

On Monday nights my Mum and I watch Project Runway, which inspired todays blog title. We both love Project Runway! We are always sure to watch the US version, the Canadian version and the British version which is called Project Catwalk.

I believe the US Project Runway is run later in Canada than in the US, so if anyone knows who won, please don't tell us. Last year we accidently found out who won and it was devastating.

Now, how many of you would whap the guy that keeps saying "licious". I find him quite annoyalicious! Ha, ha, ha.

P.S. They should have an episode designing cat clothes.

Ch..ch...chilly outside

It is getting chillier out, so I thought I should make the most of my time out on MY deck this weekend. Sometimes I had to sit on the couch with my feets all tucked up under me to stay warm, but it was still wonderful out there.

Now is the time when my Mum starts limiting my time outside because she doesn't want to leave the cat door open for me. She says it is too cold and also there have been those few times that an intruder bat has made it onto MY deck and I have brought it inside for Mum, she doesn't even appreciate the presents I bring her, sheesh!

First, there are the mushy things Mummy's say to you....

1. How's my Kellie Bellie doing today, give Mummy some smooches.

2. Oh! Look at that pretty tummy - let Mummy snorgle your pretty tummy.

3. Who's the prettiest girl in the world? Yes, it's you!

4. Look at your cute little face, what a cutie patootie.......

Secondly, there are the conversations when she is mean and says "No".....

5. No, you can't have anymore treats! Stop whining...........

6. Yah No, do you really think meowing at the door is going to get you outside? You are an inside cat silly girl.

Thirdly, there are the conversations that start "Don't even think about........."

7. Don't even think about jumping up there, No, No, No.......Oh Kellie! Okay, if you are going to be up there be a good girl and don't knock anything off.

8. Don't even think about laying on my black sweater before I go to work. No, No, No......Oh Kellie! Sigh.....

Farewell Sweet Pixie

I was very sad to hear that Pixie went to the Bridge. I know Daisy and her Mommie and Daddie will miss Pixie greatly, just as all of us will.

Pixie had the most beautiful grey coat and was the only cat I know that eats bananar's. Godspeed sweet Pixie.

Frustrating Friday

Don't I look frustrated!?

Okay, you are right - it isn't me that is frustrated - it is my Mum. On the 2nd of September my Mum had surgery to create a fistula for dialysis - this past Tuesday she found out that the fistula doesn't work and she has to go through another surgery to have another one created, sigh. This will be her 3rd fistula surgery - both of the first two didn't work. She is very frustrated, but I help her out by being goofy and making her laugh, like in the pictures below. My cousin Shauna is also helping me cheer Mum up.

I'm Back !!!!

Whew, I am finally back - Mum and I have had a very crazy August. Here are a few highlights:

- The Auditors came for a week at Mum's work - keeping her insanely busy
- In the middle of the week with the Auditors one of Mum's co-workers was off sick and Mum had to do her own work and the other lady's work too, the lady was gone for 3 weeks - so Mum was crazy busy.
- On Tuesday Sept. 2 my Mum had an operation. The surgeon created a fistula in her lower right arm . A fistula is when they take a vein and an artery and join them together so it can be used for dialysis. My Mum's arm is very sore and she is finding it tricky using her left hand - but she is glad it is over!

During this crazy month I have been busy taking care of Mum. I made sure I cuddled her lots, napped with her lots and ran crazily around the house to make her laugh. She said she wouldn't have made it without me : )

I have missed my friends so much and I will try to get to everyones blog as soon as possible - I feel so out of touch with all of you.

It is hot and I'm tired - drop the flashy thing!

As many of you know, my Mum's kidney's are failing (they are working at 17% of normal) and sometimes she doesn't feel very good, she feels lethargic and sometimes the toxins in your body give you painfull joints and make you nauseous. The people she works for are wonderful people and they decided that it would be best for Mum if she came into work at 10:00 in the morning rather than her usual 8:00 from now on (all for the same pay). Isn't that the nicest thing ever! Mum sometimes takes home work to do, but it is much easier to do at home than at the office. Mum is still very busy, but hopefully things will quiet down after the auditors leave in mid-August.

Thank you all for visiting me while I was not blogging - because of the Mum, sigh.... She does try to get around to a few blogs every day, but I won't be happy until she gets back to blogging every day!

My Mum has been so busy at work that she is neglecting her blog typing work for me! It is totally unacceptable behaviour and I am thinking of putting her in a time out (with the computer, so she can catch up). Apparently, you are supposed to put beans in time outs for one minute per year of their age, so she will be there a squillion years and I will get my blog updated.

Mum says to please be patient with us. She has the auditors coming August 11 and until then, we won't be able to post every day : )

Please don't forget about us.

Happy 4th of July to all my American friends, I hope you have a great day celebrating! I also hope that the fireworks don't scare any of you too much.

We just had Canada Day on July 1st and Mum and I could just barely hear the fireworks, which was good because I don't care for loud noises.

Mum and I have lots of naps on the deck planned for this Saturday - ahhhh.... I love napping with the Mum.

On Sunday, my boyfriend Maximillian is taking me on a wonderful trip to San Francisco. I can barely wait, it is going to be so much fun. I was glad that Maximillian was able to find the time because as most of you know he has a very important job with the Burmese Security Council and I am sure they will miss him greatly whilst he teleports to San Francisco with me.

My Mum was feeling tired and sicky this weekend so we did ALOT of sleeping. I did spend some time out on MY deck, but then I would go check on Mum and cuddled up with her for yet another sleep. What is a girl to do, if the Mum is sleeping - then you really should curl up with her and nap too!

Mum did take Grandpa out for Father's Day AND she never brought me back anything - even though I could smell that she had seafood. Sheesh - I think next time I should get to go with them.

My Cosmic Twin Dante

Many have commented on how much Dante from the Purrageous Pirates and I look alike. His Mum and mine have commented to each other that we were startled when we visited each others blogs to see their baby's picture - only to realize it was Dante/Kellie.

Well yesterday it became even more surreal when I visited the Purrageous Pirates and noticed that Dante and I have the same birthday - June 21! How weird is that! Okay, he will only be 3 and I will be 7, but I am convinced we are some sort of cosmic twins!

Crazy Thundering Herd of Elephants

Last night I decided to put on a crazy thundering herd of elephant show!

All evening I ran around the house with my ears back, racing from one spot to the other, meowing really loud, it was alot of fun and a good way to burn off steam. My Mum of course was all concerned that something was wrong, he, he, he.....she kept talking to me all sweetly, asking me what was wrong.......ha, ha, ha.....Then she thought maybe a storm was coming (cause when a storm is coming I act all crazy too), but no - I was just having some fun and of course there was the extra benefit of Mum paying ALOT of attention to me was good.

Yup, just a good old game of thundering herd of elephants that went on all evening and into the night : )

My Sock Kitty Cherry

Finally New Pictures of my Hammock

Here is my new hammock that my Mum and Grandpa made for me. My Grandpa made it twice this size, but my Mum cut it down, but it is still larger than other cats hammocks!

It is very good to lay around on and think......

It is also a good place to have a quick wash........

If you want a place to have a good scratch - this would be the place for that to.....

I quite like my new hammock even if it is a little big.

I am very proud to announce that last night I took my Mum to staples, bought her a USP card reader for her work computer and she has now downloaded all my pictures, whew - it took her long enough. I would also like to mention that it cost $10.55 of my allowance to purchase this for her, I better get some good treats!

I have been sitting here thinking - yes, I did pick the fireplace where I am not supposed to be, just to get you back Mum. Anyhoo, I have been thinking that there must be a way to rectify my Mum not downloading my pictures, this has become ridiculous. So, I have come up with a plan. She says she keep forgetting to download the pictures at home because she is tired after work and she can't download them from work because her work computer doesn't have a card reader and she has lost the USP cord for her camera, blah, blah, blah....

So, today after work I am taking her to Staples to get either a new cord or a USP card reader for her work computer. Finally, I am going to get my pictures downloaded! I hope.

Here is an OLD picture of me helping my Mum do some printing.

My Mum doesn't have a PC anymore, just a laptop - so she prints remotely now. If we are in the living room and Mum is on the laptop and prints something, I can hear the printer in the office start to work and I jump up and run as fast as I can to get to the printer and make sure the documents print out correctly. Of course, my Mum doesn't know why she even bothers to print remotely because she has to chase behind me to make sure I do not shred the document that is being printed. I am good at that - I find it is very important to get the document out of the printer as fast as possible, even if you have to leave a few claw marks in the paper.

I know, I am a very good girl for being such a great help to my Mum!

I am glad it is finally Friday, although my Mum didn't work Monday because it was Victoria Day and she was home sick on Wednesday and Thursday, so really Mum and I had lots and lots of sleep and cuddle time already this week. Still, it is always nice to have a weekend.

I was so sorry to hear about my dear friend Bonnie Underfoot , I will miss her alot. My thoughts and purrayers are with Victor and their beans.

It was wonderful weather here this weekend -I really enjoyed it out on MY deck. I even let my Mum join me out here. She napped on the couch and I napped on her hip - it was delightful.

Actually, it was a delightful weekend for me - Mum wasn't feeling well so we travelled around the house napping in different rooms. Ahhh.....there is nothing better for a cat than a weekend of napping.

Mum's kidney function is getting very low again and she will find out on June 20th if they are going to do an operation to put a fistula or graft in her arm for dialysis. This has happened before, her kidney function dips just about low enough that she might have to go on dialysis and then goes up a couple of points so she can wait awhile, so we are hoping that things will rebound a couple of percentage points and she can wait for dialysis. In the meantime I will stay very close to her and heal her with my healing purrs : )

I have been terribly neglected this week! My Mum has helped me visit a few blogs, but she hasn't helped me post since Monday! It is so hard to find reliable help. I guess I shouldn't be so hard on her, she hasn't been feeling well this week, but gee whiz - a cat needs to blog!

Mum and I are both very happy that it is a long weekend. I think we both plan to get lots and lots of rest and sunshine! I hope everycat and their beans do the same.

I wasn't born 10 years ago, but I think I was floating around on a cloud waiting to be born.

2. 5 things on my to do list for today:

After having my breakfast I shall spend some time on MY deck washing myself, then I shall jump up on the fireplace mantel and narrowly miss pushing all the breakables on the floor, after that extravaganza I would require a nap, I would burrow myself under the nicely made bed and mess it up as best I could and lastly I would wait at the window, looking innocent and waiting for my Mum to arrive home.

3. Snacks I enjoy: I really, really, really enjoy Temptation Hairball Treats, they are very yummy for my tummy.

4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire: If I was a billionaire I would make sure that all animals would have forever homes, then I would build a great big treat factory and give the treats away free.

5. Three of my bad habits: Bad habits!? I don't think I have any! Oh wait, my Mum would like to answer this one. Apparently, my bad habits are crying everytime my Mum walks into the kitchen. I think everytime she walks into the kitchen I should get a treat. Secondly, maniacal litter box digging - Hey, a girl has to make sure she does a good job in covering her poops. Thirdly, tapping my Mum over and over on the back in the middle of the night so that she turns over. I like to cuddle a certain way and if she is on her right side it doesn't work out the way I want it to, therefore I am forced to wake her and have her turn over, seems reasonable to me.

6. Five places I've lived:

I have lived at the SPCA, then our house, I also lived at Grandpa's house for a week when we were having hardwood floors installed at our house.

7. Five jobs I've had: Snoopervisor, Fly/Spider Catcher, Fuzzy Mousie Attacker, Assistant Bed Maker and Official Napper.

This is the look I gave my Mum last night when she made me come in off the deck! She went on and on about how it was bedtime, but I still wouldn't come in (he, he, he..) - finally she came outside and picked me up and plunked me inside! The horror! The embarassment! What if my friends had seen this spectacle! I thought it was totally uncalled for - she could have gone to bed, I could have come in later! Sigh......... Mums can be so embarassing.

I had a lovely weekend. The weather was a little bit chilly, but at least the sun was out and the beans were wearing short sleeves. My Mum and I spent some time out on MY deck, she planted me some cat grass (yum, yum, yum) and she re-arranged some of the deck furniture while I snoopervised.

On Sunday it was Grandpa's 76th birthday so Mum, her brother bean, sister-in-law bean and niece bean took Grandpa out for dinner. Mum came home smelling of seafood and didn't even bring me ANYTHING! I thought that was rather rude!

After closely examining the picture above I have decided that in the future my Mum should photoshop my furchins out of any further pictures that show my tummy.

Monday Already!

I can't believe it is Monday already! Mum is still trying to get over this horrible cold she has so we slept almost all weekend, which I thoroughly enjoyed, except now I can't believe it is already Monday! Mum did open the door to MY deck for me, so I was able to get some fresh air and some sun.

I am NOT enjoying my DIEt food anymore! Mum tries to fool me by putting a tiny bit of my "good" food on top of the diet food, but it isn't fooling anyone. I couldn't believe it when she left me this morning and I only had DIEt food left out for me, what is she trying to do? This might turn into a very long week indeed!

Thursday Thirteen - 13 things I saw at the VET

Thirteen things I saw at the VET:

A black and white DOG - he was very silly - he kept winding his leash around his beans leg.
A white dog with a funny cone contraption on his head - not a paper plate like Lego has, but an actual plastic cone thing - very strange.
Fishes - the VET had a great big aquarium of fishes - my Mum stopped and showed them to me, but I wasn't interested at that time, after I got home though I kept thinking about them fishes being all captive in that tank, I think they would have been easy to hunt.
Birdies - can you believe they have birds at the VETs place - I think they are horsd'oeuvres for us kitties! They were in cages. Had I been more comfortable I would have helped myself, maybe next time.
A kitten - the poor thing didn't even realize that it should be scared! It just sat quietly in its PTU, not screaming or crying or anything! He has alot to learn.
A very handsome VET. He was very kind and good looking and I think he really liked me because he told me how pretty I was and how it was unusual to have a female orange tabby - yup - I think he had a crush on me too!
The corner of the couch - when I was first let out of my PTU I went up on the couch and hid my head in the corner. It is a well known fact that if you can't see them, then they can't see you.
Grandpa's car - I have never seen the inside of Grandpa's car before, I have heard it, but never seen the inside before! We usually go in Mum's car, but Grandpa volunteered because he thought it would be easier, he is so cute.
A thermometer - I saw this round glass instrument on the table, but I NEVER would have imagined that they would put that in my SPOT #13 - who could imagine that!
Pictures - I saw pictures of the animals that the VET's have at home. They had cats and woofies.
Food - I saw a big display of food! Lots and lots and lots of it. Sadly, the bags and tins were all closed.
Plants - the VET's had plants in the waiting room. Since I have killed all my Mum's plants I don't see plants very often.
A stethoscope, the handsome Doctor listened to my heart with it : )

Many of you asked what diet food tasted good - it's called Presciption Diet R/D Feline - so far I am finding it yummy.

My Vet Trip

This is the evil eye I gave my Mum after she physically forced me into the PTU and roughly dragged me off to the V-E-T! She's lucky I didn't turn my lasers on!

My Mum picked me up, put my head in the PTU, and pushed my bum into the carrier! I gave her quite a fight by keeping my feet tucked under the evil PTU, but she eventually won, my darn feet slipped and in I went. Then she lugged me outside where Grandpa was waiting to drive us to the vet. I cried and whined and howled the entire 3 minute drive, just to let them know how unhappy I was.

Mum says next time I am going to have to walk to the car on my harness because I am too chubby for her to carry - I couldn't believe it, her calling me chubby - have you looked in the mirror lately Mother!

So we arrived at the vet (most good blogging Mums would have remembered their camera and taken pictures, but no not my Mum), this was a new vet for me and my Mum had heard many good things about them and I must say they were very nice, for VET people.

They were very patient and let me lay wherever I wanted. I chose the sofa, of course. They then proceeded to violate my Spot #13 with a thermometer! Beans are so weird, who thought this up! The handsome looking vet then came in and talked all nice to me, I must say I liked him ALOT. He petted me and talked to me and then swoosh, he gave me a shot! I hardly even noticed as I was gazing into his eyes (Sorry Maximillian). Then he picked me up and weighed me and made all sorts of tisk tisk sounds. Then I sat and washed my furs while he and Mummy talked. The only thing I heard was that I was in excellent health, had excellent teeth, was unbelievably beautiful (okay maybe I made this one up), but was overweight.

Last night I started a new food, apparently it is diet food, but it tastes good to me. When my Mum saw how much I liked it she almost cried because she has tried many, many, many diet foods for me and I turned my nose up at all of them.

All in all it wasn't that traumatic of a trip, but I am not letting Mum know that. I want to suck up all the sympathy I can first.

Back to "Normal" Monday

Mum and I have been in bed sleeping since Thursday after work. Mum has a strep throat and has slept and slept and coughed and snorted and slept for days now. Finally this morning she struggled off to work.

I worry when she is sick and stay right by her side, and then Mum worries about me because I don't even eat. So we spend the whole time worrying about each other, silly girls!

Apparently, Mum thinks I am going to the VET tomorrow at 2:00, but I just heard from my wonderful boyfriend Maximillian and he was able to get some time off from the Burmese Security Services so he is going to teleport over tomorrow and help "save" me, we plan on going to Dr. Tweety's Itty Bitty Cafe for some lunch, I hope our plan works, wish us luck!

Thursday Thirteen - 13 Reasons I don't need to go to the vet next week

I heard my Mum on the phone talking about a vet appointment! I sure hope it isn't for me, but if it is, here are 13 reasons I'm not going;

Apparently, I need my booster shots! What? I don't need no boost, I can jump just fine by myself.

I am going to a new vet because Mum is disgusted with the old one - I don't really need to meet any new peoples at the moment - my quota for peoples in my life is filled right now.

Umm....the PTU is lost, I don't know where it is. We can't go without the PTU.

Mum, you don't want to hurt your back lugging me and the PTU out to the red metal monster - think of yourself!

I have something planned for that day - what do you mean you haven't told me which day it is? I have something planned every day next week.

I can't find my collar and I can't go outside without my collar.

I think it is supposed to rain that day, you might get wet lugging me around.

You will miss some work, you don't want to do that!

Ummm.....the appointment is scheduled during my nap time, you know how I get if I don't get all my naps.

The vet is undoubtedly going to tell me I am fat, that hurts my feelings and my self esteem, you wouldn't want my self esteem to dwindle would you? I could become anorexic or something.

I could get a sore throat from crying the whole 3 minute drive to the vet!

You know how I shed alot when I get scared! I will ruin your outfit and you will have to go back to work all furry!

What if there is some sort of attack animal in the waiting area? I could get maimed!

Today I would like to just sit and reflect on how lucky I am. It takes a near disaster for most of us to stop and realize just how fortunate we are.

Here are some of the things I am thankful for

Lilly Lu, Mu Shue, Iris and their Mum are all alright
I have such wonderful, caring friends on the cat blogosphere, who rally around a cat in need
I have my Mum and a forever home
I have my Grandpa, who is so kind and giving
I have my cousin Shauna to play with

I have so many other things to be thankful for, but the ones I cherish most are my family and friends. I am going to try to remember each day just how fortunate I am.

1. Very funny Mummy - to toss Temptations on my back and then laugh at me when I don't realize they are there.

2. I didn't like the you making the bed when I am still sleeping in it, I know you want the bed to look nice - but hey, I'm still sleeping.

3. I didn't like how you took away my table by the window and replaced it with a "better" one, I liked my table, I was used to it, I don't like change.

4. Why can't you leave the door open so I can go out on MY deck? It isn't that cold, you could put on a winter jacket in the house.

5. Why haven't I been out in my new stroller?

6. I know you have a whole bunch of new toys in that box in the pantry - who are you saving them for?

7. How come just as I get all comfy and cozy in bed you have to get up?

8. Don't think I don't know that you are slipping some DIET food into my kibble, hello - I can see it!

9. How come I can't have milk? I know it makes me throw up, but you could just clean it up after.

10. I see that you have re-organized the closet - I had a perfectly good nap place arranged in there and now it is gone!

11. Is it really necessary that you spend 5 whole days at work? I think some of that time would be better spent with me at home.

12. I like it when you arrive home at 5:10 - I do not like it when you dilly dally and get home at 6:10 - don't you know I am waiting for you?!

Doubleview supports DigiPrint for all emulations, using the standard parallel printer port or serial port (see Setup-Printer). Other transparent-printing utilities are also supported, as long as they utilize Controller Print escape codes in their operation.

Cat Nip Filled Weekend

Me and my sock kitty sister Cherry tried out the new nip Maximillian sent, whooo hooo - it is good stuff! Cherry got downright crazy, with nip all ofur her and she was laying on the floor all googly eyed - of course I maintained my lady like composure!

My Freighter of Nip

My wonderful Maximillian is sending me a freighter of nip from Burma, the nip capitol of the world. Isn't he thoughtful?!

Here I am at the Port of Vancouver waiting for my freighter to arrive, my Mum says this is the cruise ship terminal, but this is where I was instructed to go. Maximillian probably arranged the freighter to dock here.

Mum says how did I take the picture looking back at the dock, wasn't I at the dock? Oh Mother, I was teleporting, I can be where ever I want to be, sigh....

Oh, I think that is the freighter right there......

I hope Maximillian doesn't get in too much trouble, apparently he used Daisy's credit card for the nip and Chey's for the barge to tow the freighter into the harbour! I'm sure he can work something out though - he is a very good business cat.

Now, we still need to drive 360 miles east to get to my house, I wonder how many transport trucks we will need? Oh wait, I see a whole fleet of transports pulling up now - my Maximillian thinks of everything!

Thank you so much Maximillian - I can't wait until we have the nip party - my Mum says we can invite the whole cat blogosphere! Now all we have to decide is which day to throw the party!

I am thankful that my Mum cleared off a spot on the fireplace for me to sit. I like it up there, it is a very good place to survey my kingdom.

I think I make a nice addition to the black and white photos my Mum has up here - my orange brightens up everything : )

I hope everycat had a good weekend - I did. On Saturday I helped my Mum put together our new barbecue, well actually I played in the boxes and packing material while Mum put the barbecue together and Grandpa watched us both : )

On Sunday I lounged around outside on my deck, it was a little chilly, but very refreshing. Then Mum used the Furminator on me and she gotted lots and lots and lots of my furs - she quickly snatches the furs out of the brush and puts them in a plastic bag before I can eat them - darn it anyway!

We didn't do anything too exciting, but it was just nice to hang out with my Mum.

I'm back! I think this is the longest time I have been without blogging! My Mum was quite sick, so she wasn't able to help me, but she is better now.

The exciting news I was going to tell you last week was that my bought me a stroller! Mum hasn't downloaded the pictures yet so I can't show them to you, but I will soon! I haven't actually gone outside yet (because Mum was sick), but she did stroller me around the house! I also got some new toys and a Furminator brush, pictures to come.

Now that Mum is better, it is definately a Fabulous Friday!

Tummy Rub Tuesday

Here I am getting a tummy rub from my favourite girl bean Shauna (Mum's niece - I guess that makes her my cousin). She LOVES us cats. She had two cats, but recently her cat Cuddles went to the Rainbow Bridge, Cuddles was much older than Shauna. Her other cat Sylvester is almost exactly the same age as Shauna. He wandered in Cuddles pet door when Shauna was a newborn baby and he was just an itty bitty kitty and he just never left, they tried to find his owners, but never could - it was just meant to be! I love playing with Shauna she is so much fun.

P.S. My Mum bought me something exciting - pictures tomorrow!
